Things Your Father Said

As follow up to the last post about things your mother said, it’s only fair that we think about things your father or grandfather said to you repeatedly when you were a child.

These aren’t necessarily things my father said, but just the ones that come to mind when I think about fathers interacting with their kids.

“Go ask your mother,” probably works in a wide variety of situations! Then there is, “What makes you think that it was a good idea to do that?” which is a close relative of “Go to your room and think about what you did.”
