Mini Loan Sharks
I had the funniest memory the other day of something that we used to do when we were kids. I guess you could call it training to live in a capitalist society.
I remembered loaning my cousin a dollar. She wasn’t able to pay it back for three days at which time I charged her a dime in interest. (We had agreed on the interest rate ahead of time.) I’m not sure where I got the idea to charge the interest or how I came up with that rate.
Not bad, huh? Imagine if you could earn ten percent on your money in every three-day period! Perhaps I should have expanded on those skills to become an international financier.
