Kids Getting Cavities On The Rise

Isn’t that a shocking headline? I just finished reading an article stating that for the first time in decades, dentists are seeing an upswing in the percentage of children getting cavities.

In one way, the absolute junk food that most Americans eat themselves and feed to their children should be a big top off that this problem could occur. However, considering what we know today about proper oral hygiene and the never-ending reminders in the form of a constant barrage of commercials for toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash, you would think that parents would be sure to help their kids clean their teeth of the residue from all that blasted junk food.
