Classroom Newsletters

There have been some teachers who have always been fond of producing a classroom newsletter to keep parents informed of what is going on.

Some teachers do all the work themselves while others turn it into a class wide or small group project, having students learn and work at the same time. Of course, many teachers are turning to the Internet today and simply publishing newsletters via the web or as part of a parental e-mail list

If parents want to get involved in this manner, they could offer to take part in the production of the newsletter by creating and maintaining a classroom website or taking responsibility for format and production of a physical newsletter.
