Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Drops

Does just the name of the desert get your mouth watering? It should! Let’s say it again just for fun – Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Drops.
Would you like a fun no bake cookie recipe that you can use to make cookies with the kids in minutes that doesn’t require the use of the oven?
You only need 6 things all of which you probably already have in the house.
First, mix the first 4 ingredients in a non-stick pan or a sauce pan:
· ¼ cup milk
· 1 cup of sugar
· ½ stick of butter
· 2 tablespoons of cocoa
Bring mixture to a boil for one minute. Remove from the heat source and stir in:
· ¼ cup of peanut butter
· 1 ½ cups of oatmeal
Simply drop by desired size onto a wax paper on a cookie sheet. Then refrigerate them until desired consistency. They will harden if you leave them out at room temperature too, but the refrigerator will speed up the process so you can eat them sooner. That will be helpful if you have kids waiting.
Tip: Double all ingredients to make twice as many if you need more for a hungry troupe.
Tip: This is not a dessert for people minding their diets unless they don’t mind breaking their diet plans!
Tip: Make sure you let the mixture boil for the minute as called for in the directions. If you take it off the heat as soon as it starts to boil, the consistency will not come out right. However, they still taste just as good!
