Black Friday – Leave The Kids At Home

Black Friday 2006 is winding down as I write this. Depending on which part of the country you are in, you have anywhere from two hours to five before the registers shutdown for the night and retailers start tallying up how much they earned for the day. By tomorrow, those numbers will be spreading like wildfire among the media with predictions of how the rest of the holiday shopping season will go.

Since this is indeed the biggest retail shopping day of the year, there is probably no better day to leave the kids at home while you are shopping! It is hard enough to keep track of yourself and all the sale prices in the frenzy being played out at shopping centers and malls all across the country right this very minute. The last thing you want to do is have to try to keep your kids under control at the same time.

Shoppers, share your stories, please. Did you leave the kids at home? How about your fellow shoppers? Were their kids wreaking havoc on your shopping trip?
