Autumn Kid’s Crafts

After I wrote a previous entry about making glitter pumpkins for Halloween, I was trying to think of some other Halloween or fall crafts I remembered from my own elementary school days.

I remember once making a leaf person! The entire thing was created out of construction paper. We used a large leaf for the body and an acorn for the head. We used smaller leaves to represent the arms and legs. We used markers to draw the facial features and the veins of the leaves.

For a great in-the-house activity, you could have your kids make one of those out of construction paper or out of real leaves that you gather from the backyard.
