Natural Shampoo
I received a sample of a new natural shampoo in the mail the other day.
The name of the new shampoo is Naked Naturals. Despite the fact that the back of the sample packet says the name Naked Naturals “was chosen to reflect our commitment to formulating hair card products using the most natural ingredients available,” I think their marketing department or marketing consultants might have had a thing or two to say about using a provocative name to garner some product launch buzz.
There are three different scents with different purposes. They have aloe vera and chamomile for moisturizing, citrus and keratin for fortifying, awapuhi and lavender for color-treated hair. They say on the packageing thast there are no synthetic fragrances. The sample I received had a very light, natural scent. Another thing I liked about the sample was that it lathered much better than the shampoo I usually use.
The website explains the science behind the company’s claims that the shampoo can make hair seven times stronger than other shampoos and that the brand’s conditioner can make hair three time stronger than other conditioners. This is due to keravis, a natural plan protein found in the items.

Here is a picture of the product so if you see it in the store you will know what it looks like:
