Dreaming Of Summer Yet?
Sometimes when we are in the midst of severe weather of one kind or another, it’s fun to think of just the opposite. I hope this blog entry helps you get through your late winter doldrums…
As I mentioned in the previous entry, it has been snowing outside my window for over twelve hours. I’m not sure that there’s an end in sight to this weather any time soon either. As much as I love the snow, sometimes this kind of weather does get people dreaming of summer. Does it have that effect on you?
Take a look at the picture of the cruiser bike below. Did that do it for you? Are you suddenly imagining yourself walking along the beach on a hot summer day, taking a dip in the refreshing ocean waters, and then donning a light sweatshirt for a relaxing bike ride in the ocean breezes as the sun sets?
I’m not normally a beach person, but last year I went on vacation to Bermuda and seeing that picture automatically brought me back o their famous pink sand beaches and crystal clear water. The place is really amazing. I couldn’t believe that you could swim in water so clear and see the brightly colored tropical fish swimming right along with you. Then there was the coral reef diving which was amazing and educational at the same time…
Maybe I better go check on the snow again for a reality check. Better yet, perhaps I should visit a travel site and make some new vacation plans.
