Social Networking For Pet Owners

The way that social networking sites have continued to grow over the past few years, I’m surprised that I never came across a site devoted to social networking for pet owners before. Considering how devoted people are to the their pets, it only makes sense that pet lovers would want to discuss them and share pictures and stories about them with fellow pet enthusiasts. That’s what site called Anamigo is all about.

When I hear the word “pet” the first two types that always come to mind are cats and dogs. Anamigo makes a special effort to make owners of all kinds of furry friends welcome, including those who own horses so the definition of pet doesn’t have to mean only animals that live in the house with you.

The site has an extensive help page with a fun twist. It is written from the point of view of a dog. For example, when “Scruffy the Pug” explains to users that there should be no growling or snapping, or biting parking on the discussion boards, the pooch is really saying that users should not be insulting or rude to each other in posts. Don’t worry, you won’t have “speak dog” to figure it out. The page is very well written and makes everything clear with translations to “human speak.”

The fun thing about the site is that the profiles are of the pets! I encourage you to check it out and enjoy the site as well as the cute pictures of the animals.

By the way, you’ll be in famous company since a slew of celebrities stopped by the site’s official launch party at the recent Sundance Film Festival. Who knows whose pet yours might get to meet online !
