New American Gladiators
A few months ago, I wrote about the new American Gladiators a few months ago when I heard that the show would be coming to NBC.
The wait is over! Did you watch the premiere last Sunday or catch it in its regular time slot on Monday? I missed the first episode, but I did manage to see the second episode.
Talk about Nostalgia! It felt like it was fifteen years ago watching the show. Actually, it felt like a combination of fifteen years ago and today because they did a great job updating the set. I love the gigantic pool that the contestant or gladiator falls into when losing certain events. Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali make good hosts.
I wish they would do two things though:
1. Provide full episodes on NBC’s website.
2. Bring back one of the original American Gladiators in each episode as a guest host or commentator as well as giving the audience an update on what that person has been up to since the original version went off the air. I would also like to know what the original hosts are up to as well.
