Professional Web Design
It just amazes me that there are so many options available for web design these days.
In fact, I just got some new web design software for Christmas, but I haven’t even opened the box yet. However, the do it yourself approach to creating websites is not for everyone. There are many other options out there that are available for everyone from individuals to huge corporations.
There are professional web designers who use Web design templates and have clients pick from among a set group while there are others who will create an original Web page design for a particular client.
Someone who really understands the process is going to more than simply throw up an image of your logo onto the page and write a paragraph or two for the “about us” page. While that method will get you online, it probably won’t do a good job of representing you and your company to your potential customers. You should talk your designer to let him or her get a feel for your business so that can be reflected in what is put on the page.
If it sounds a little confusing, an example might help. Picture the web pages that would be appropriate for a company selling high end herbal teas as opposed to one promoting a teen band. They should be approached in very different ways because the final result needs to reflect the subject of the site in tone and style.
