Leaving The Kids With A Babysitter

I watched the movie When A Stranger Calls last night. You may remember it from 2006. It was the remake of the 1979 movie of the same name. The two most memorable lines that are used in both the original and the remake are: “Have you checked the children?” and “The call is coming from inside the house!”

I knew you would recognize it after you read those quotes.

I just had to comment on the premise in that I can’t believe parents would leave their children with a babysitter that they never met before she arrives at the door! They mentioned in the dialogue that she came highly recommended from their friends. I suppose that’s something, but it still seems crazy to let a stranger (the babysitter, not the other stranger who is stalking them) take care of your kids.

What do you think?
