Raising Money For Educational Tours
I was writing recently about school fundraising. I was mentioning various reasons why schools held fundraising drives. Let’s look at one reason in depth in this entry.
When a school or club within the school community organizes educational tours, someone has to pay for them. Of course, the rep from the student travel agency (check out the link in the previous sentence if you are researching) will work with the tour organizer to ensure that the group is getting the best deal possible. Still, the expenses of the transportation, hotel, and even admissions can only go so low and it will be up to the group to raise the money they need.
What creative ideas have you used to support a school trip in your children’s school?
