Art Auctions At Sea
It was only recently that I had heard about art auctions at sea. They are one of the many activities available to passengers on cruise ships. Through its affiliate company, Park West At Sea, Park West Art Gallery is one of the companies responsible for brining passengers that unique experience.
As I said, I had only heard about the concept recently before I went on a cruise vacation. On the particular cruise I was on, they were not having an auction on the time, but interestingly, they did have plaques on the wall under empty frames in various places indicating that artwork was for sale.
I spoke to another passenger who told me that she had actually been on another cruise line and won a door prize at the art auction - free framing for anything she bought. Next time you are on a cruise, inquire about the auction and see if it run by Park West. You can tell everyone you learned about the company on the blog!
