The Great Kitchen Disaster
Written By Matthew W. Grant & Paula Paluch
Courtney was a wonderful girl and her mother was a wonderful cook. Courtney’s mother said that someday she would teach Courtney how to cook. She bought Courtney all kinds of kitchen toys.
Courtney did not like those kitchen toys. She liked to play with her trucks much more than with her kitchen toys. Courtney wanted to be a truck driver when she grew up.
Courtney played with her truck’s every day. “Breaker, breaker, 10-4,” Courtney said as she pushed the trucks around the kitchen floor.
One day, Courtney’s mother said, “It is time to put aside your trucks for awhile. Little girls can be whatever they want when they grow up. First, all children must learn how to cook. Tomorrow, I will teach you.”
