Highlights Magazine Features
I recently wrote about a special offer that included receiving a free calendar with a subscription to Highlights For Children Magazine for children.
Since I have a copy of a recent issue, I thought I’d share some of the features to show you why it’s such a great magazine to get for your kids.
First of all, I love their tagline, “Fun with a Purpose.” Who could ask for more than that of their children’s entertainment media?
On the bottom of the contents page, they have a parent-teacher guide which is coded by symbols next to the contents so adults can easily see which of the following categories a particular activity will fit in with: reading (broken down into prereading, easy, or advanced), creative thinking, or moral values.
