Converting The School Building
Converting The School Building
Itβs funny how one blog entry often gives writers an idea for another one. In many ways, it’s like having a long and continuous discussion with the readers.
After telling the story of one school building in replacing the local school, it made me think of what happened to other schools in my old city.
One of them was a large junior high school building that sat empty for many years after it was replaced with a more modern building at another location. It was later turned into an elderly housing complex. I always thought it would be very weird for some of the residents who ended up living there in their later years if they had attended school there when they were kids. Can you imagine having your apartment in your old chemistry lab or English classroom?
What has been done to old school buildings in your area?
