Reasons Kids Like School

I thought I would do this entry and its next related entry, Reasons Kids Don’t Like School, as a point counterpoint type of things. Therefore, things on each list will correspond.

1. Accomplishment – Some kids like school because there are various ways for them to be successful there including academic, sports, and artistic pursuits.

2. Attention – Some kids who feel lost in the shuffle at home like the atmosphere at school because they get attention from adults and from their peers.

3. Excitement of Learning – Some kids get intrinsic pleasure out of literally learning something new every day. This is especially true in earlier years of education before many kids develop negative attitudes and associations with schoolwork.
