Senior Care

Although we focus mainly on parenting and childhood (all the way through teen years here), sometimes we take a look at the other end of the spectrum – seniors.

It’s increasingly common for parents who have to care for their own children or teens to also have some level of responsibility caring for their own parents as well. Whether they those older parents live in the same household or in their own, there is a way, through the use od modern technology, to add an extra layer of security into the senior care discussion.

That method involves the use of what some people refer to as an emergency panic button and others call an emergency response system an emergency alert system. (If you aren’t sure what I am talking about, a quick memory jolt referring to the advertising line, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up,” ought to solve the problem.”)

The units are more inconspicuous as ever allowing seniors to wear them as a watch, as a necklace, as a pendant, or even as an accessory on a belt. If you or a loved one could benefit from this technology, look into it and give yourself the peace of mind it provides.
