Dehumidifiers
In this hot and humid summer weather, there is another weapon in addition to air conditioning in the war to stay cool. Have you considered using dehumidifiers in rooms in your house that don’t have air conditioning?
If you don’t have an air conditioner built into the wall in a room or if you don’t want to block one of your windows, you can get a dehumidifier that can be placed anywhere in the room. They are much more sophisticated than they were years ago. Some models now have digital readouts with precise temperature control, drain hoses so you don’t have to hurt your back emptying the pans, and multi-speed fan settings.
