College Search

It may be the middle of summer, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not on the minds of parents (and perhaps even a few high school juniors and high school seniors). What am I talking about? I’m referring to the great college search of course.

The Internet has revolutionized searching for colleges and even perhaps more important the college scholarship search. Anyone in high school now will probably never appreciate that as recently as ten years ago, searching for the right college was a task and half in patience and time. People bought college guides and also spent time going through brochures in their high school guidance offices. I know it seems crazy, but they even wrote (snail –mail, not e-mail) to ask for information.

Thankfully, those days are over. A quick trip to a site like AnyCollege.com wil instantly put the world of academia at parents’ and students’ fingertips. The site lets you search on various characteristics such as by major offerings, state location, and type of degree. Just for fun, I tested it with information about my old alma mater and it came right up with the correct information.

Use AnyCollege.com for your educational research needs this summer and you can spend more time enjoying the summer before the academic grind starts up in September.
