Airline Travel

When you think of planning a vacation involving airline travel, where do you turn online? I usually go to my old favorites sites that I’ve known about since the late 90’s. I really didn’t think they had competition that I didn’t know about. Of course, I should have known better. The worldwide web is a large thing and I just found out about SideStep.com which is used by six million people a month (per the site’s About Us page).

What makes SideStep different (and perhaps better) than those I have used until now is that the site searches 200 other travel sites to automatically allow consumers to get the best deals. In effect, it is a meta search engine for airline travel, cruises, hotel reservations, car rentals, and even vacation packages. I always search multiple sites to ensure that I am getting the best deal. I’m glad I learned of a site that will now do that for me.

SideStep also has travel guides to destinations all around the world. I chose the New York and found maps as well as information and detailed reviews of hotels, restaurants, entertainment, and even shopping. The site really could be an all-in-one vacation planning stop. It’s definitely worth a look when you are ready for your next trip, whether it requires airline tickets or some other form of transportation.
