Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End
Of the many movies that your kids will be begging you to take them to this summer, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End will be right up there near the top of the list.
It picks up right where the second movie of the series (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest) left off. The main characters must go in search of Jack Sparrow as he has been banished to Davy Jones’ Locker. Knowing the cast of characters involved, you can imagine the adventures they get themselves in. Don’t worry, there are a few that you can’t imagine as well.
It’s rated PG-13 so could drop the kids off and see something else, but the Pirates movies are fun for the whole family so I suggest you see it with them. It’s about 2 hours and 45 minutes so you will definitely get your money’s worth.
All the critics have picked on the movie, complaining about a lack of plot. Think of it as more of a series of swashbuckling adventures and you’ll b perfectly satisfied.
