Online Encyclopedia

Who remembers the days when the word “encyclopedia” brought to mind a set of books, probably about 25 volumes in the collection, that resided on a shelf in the living room and was consulted for homework matters or when something question came up in a conversation and nobody in the household knew the answer?

Those days have been replaced by online knowledge repositories such as EncycloCentral.com. That site even lets users access the material alphabetically by clicking on the letters at the top of the pages. Topics are wide and varied.

Just like flipping through the encyclopedia in the old days, it’s fun to go to sites like that and click on different letters just to see what you might learn., , , ,
