Christmas Spending January Debt

I know, it’s no fun to talk about credit cards and January credit card statements already when it is still December!
Still, a little planning will go a long way in making financial matters easier in January if you overspent in December. Of course, if you are able to pay off your credit card statements in full, you will avoid all interest charges. Another way to avoid interest charges is to take advantage of 0% balance transfers. Terms vary, but sometimes you can find a card that never charges interest on the transferred balance while other cards will charge interest on that balance after a certain amount of time.

As always, an informed consumer is the best kind so don’t forget to compare credit cards before making any final decisions.
