Going to the Rodeo
Every time you see something about a rodeo on TV, don’t you wish you were there? It looks like so much fun. What kid doesn’t fantasize about getting in the bull pen and trying to last as long on the bull as possible?
Did you know that the The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is really whole family entertainment event? Besides the obvious typical rodeo attractions, they also have a full sized carnival with rides as well as several superstar concert performers. The upcoming show (February 27 - March 18, 2007 at Reliant Park) includes George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Toby Keith, Lee Ann Womack, and many others. You should get your Houston Rodeo concert tickets early so you can be sure to get good seats to see your country favorites.
This year is Houston Rodeo’s 75th anniversary so you can believe they will be going all out to celebrate. I would love to attend for any one of the pieces, put them together and you have three-week show that just can’t be beat.
