Credit Cards

Have you ever heard of interest free credit cards? I noticed that this site ( CardGuide.co.uk) is located in the UK so I thought maybe it was a concept with which we in the U.S. are not familiar so I took the opportunity to accept the review and explore the site.

The front page of the site promises that it is “content rich” and that is true. One can tell that immediately by looking at the front page. It is not overwhelmed with ads. Of course, there are a few ads present, but they are unobtrusively blended into the site. It indicates the several types of information that are detailed on the site.

In addition to an article that contains a brief overview of credit card history, the site covers different aspects of owning and using credit cards wisely including tips on actually making money with credit cards by simply using those with cash back features instead of cash for every day purchases. The site points out the percentage in “cash-back” cards usually compares very favorably to what someone would earn in most regular savings account. That is also true in the U.S. as well.

A brand new article on the site is specifically aimed at helping consumers benefit from using credit cards this Christmas. Whether you in the market for a new card or simply need some tips and reminders about credit card management, a visit to CardGuide.co.uk is in order.

In case you are wondering, I never did find the information on interest free credit cards. One improvement I would make to the site would be a site-wide search capability. Then I could have typed in the phrase and ha dmy answer right away. If you find it when you visit, the site, please come back and share the details.
