Aquarium Supplies & Information

As readers know from the bio information on the right side of the page, I do have my own fish tanks at home so I am glad to write about AquariumGuys.com (an online source for aquarium filters and many other types of aquarium supplies) and their new aquarium forum located at FishTankForums.com.

I can tell you from experience that when you are setting up your new tank for the first time, you will have many questions that are not answered in the instruction manual that comes with the tank. In addition to that, you will have questions all along the way for as long as you maintain the aquarium.

Forums have been very helpful to me because they give you a lot of information from different people as they share their experiences. It is different from salespeople in a store who want to sell a certain product or a certain brand; people who frequent forums are enthusiasts dedicated to helping others get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of their aquariums with the least amount of problems.

Another great thing about forums is that you will get a variety of opinions on any subject presented. There can be many solutions (and many possible causes) to issues that may come up with your fish or with the aquarium environment so it is helpful to be able to benefit from so many different perspectives and experiences.aquarium, fish tanks
